FireWire was invented by Apple to be a quicker way of transferring data from removable devices. it is similar to USB but it is much, much faster.
This PCI card will give your computer 4 FireWire ports.2 on the back and 1 on the inside. If you have a video camera with FireWire and your computer doesn't have FireWire, we recommend that you get this card.
Includes 1 firewire cable.
FireWire also goes by the names IEEE 1394 and iLink.
